Scope of application

The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the mutual rights and obligations between the operator of Camping Waldenstein and the camping guest. The contractual services shall be governed exclusively by the commitments valid for the duration of the stay. Telephone agreements, ancillary agreements and other agreements of any kind must be made in writing and confirmed by the operator in order to be valid. By registering, the camping guest accepts these terms and conditions.

Registration / Reservation

By registering or making a reservation, the camping guest makes a binding offer to conclude a contract for the provision of a pitch. This can be done by booking online on our website www.camping-waldenstein.at, by e-mail ( info@camping-waldenstein.at ), by telephone (+43 664 4355532) or verbally. The registration is made by the camping guest also for all fellow travelers listed in the registration/reservation, for whose contractual obligations the camping guest is responsible as for his own obligations. We only consider your reservation as binding as soon as your deposit has been received at least 3 days before arrival by online payment or bank transfer to our account (IBAN: AT75 2027 2000 0096 2092, BIC: SPZWAT21XXX, Bank: Waldviertler Sparkasse Bank AG) has been received. Otherwise your booking will expire.

Arrival and departure

You can arrive from Tuesday to Saturday from 13:00 to 21:00. On Sunday arrival is possible until 18:00. As soon as you have arrived, please register at the Stefan Hinger sports restaurant, right next to the campsite. There you will receive the guest sheet to fill in and sign, the most important information for your stay and the invoice, if you have not already received it by e-mail. Please also take a photo ID with you for registration. Arrival on Monday or after 9 pm or 6 pm on Sunday is only possible by prior arrangement by telephone. You will then receive further information. Departure must take place daily by 12:00 noon. Otherwise an additional overnight fee will be charged.

Duration of the reservation period and stay

The length of the period for which a camping guest makes a reservation is always binding as soon as the camping guest starts their stay. It is only possible to reduce the period of stay or the corresponding payment obligation thereafter by mutual agreement. Campers are not entitled to a refund of pre-paid camping fees if they terminate their stay prematurely. An extension of the stay is also only possible by mutual agreement.

Pitch

You will be allocated a pitch in your chosen category when you make your reservation. If possible, we will retain this classification. For technical booking reasons, the operator reserves the right to move the pitch within the same service category even after receipt of the deposit or booking confirmation. The pitches on the upper level have electricity, water and gray water connections. The pitches on the lower level have electricity and water connections.

Prices

The current prices can be found on our website www.camping-waldenstein.at. In any case, the campsite operator has the right to change the tariffs in the applicable price list without affecting the validity of the camping contract if there are more than 4 calendar months between the conclusion of the camping contract and the start of the stay. For his part, the camping guest is permitted to withdraw from the contract in accordance with the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions. All price lists are subject to errors and changes.

Payment of the camping fees

The total camping fee for the duration of the agreed period of your reservation is generally due before arrival or, if agreed, is due on arrival. Your deposit will of course be taken into account. The campsite operator may agree to a later payment on a case-by-case basis. However, the camping guest is not entitled to this deferment of payment.

Cancellation conditions

You have the option of canceling your booking free of charge up to 10 days before your arrival. The campsite operator will refund the amount already paid to the bank details you provide. If canceled between 9 days and 3 days before arrival, 50% of the total price must be paid, after that or in case of no-show 100% of the total amount must be paid within 3 working days. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance .

Compliance with the campsite regulations

The applicable campsite regulations form an integral part of these General Terms and Conditions. It is displayed at the campsite or can be downloaded from our website www.camping-waldenstein.at. In the event of violations of the campsite rules by the campsite guest, the campsite operator may expel the campsite guest from the campsite. Even in this case, the camping guest is not entitled to a refund of any payments made. In this case, the campsite operator reserves the right to claim damages.

Defects

Any complaints must be reported immediately by the camping guest to the campsite operator. The assertion of defects is excluded if these have not been reported directly to the campsite operator during the guest’s stay. The customer must be given a reasonable period of time to rectify the defect.

Liability

The campsite operator is not liable for damage caused by the failure or disruption of the water or electricity supply or as a result of noise nuisance caused by third parties. Furthermore, the campsite operator shall not be liable for slightly negligent breaches of duty for damage caused by the use of the facilities or equipment located on the campsite or facilities, equipment and precautions that are out of order or out of service. This also applies to slightly negligent breaches of duty by the legal representatives or vicarious agents of the campsite operator.

Applicable law

Austrian law shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is Gmünd.

Campsite regulations

Dear campers,

We look forward to welcoming you to the campsite in Waldenstein. To make your stay a relaxing and successful one, please follow our rules.

Arrival and departure

Access to the campsite is only permitted after registration at the Stefan Hinger sports restaurant (right next door). You can arrive from Tuesday to Saturday from 13:00 to 21:00. On Sunday until 18:00. Arrival on Monday or after 18:00 on Sunday is only possible with prior registration by telephone on +43 664 4355532. For the registration we need your identity documents (legal obligation to register). Unaccompanied minors up to the age of 16 must submit written consent from their parents or legal guardians when registering. When you register, you fill out the guest sheet and receive the most important information for your stay. Departure must be no later than 12:00 noon each day. Otherwise an additional overnight fee will be charged.

Please leave your pitch in a clean condition.

Pets prohibited

In order to ensure the safety of wild animals and the recreation of our camping guests, we do not allow dogs, cats etc.

Pitch

Vehicles

A speed limit of 10 km/h applies throughout the campsite. Vehicles must be parked in such a way that they do not obstruct traffic or neighbors. One car is permitted per parking space. Please contact us if you wish to park other vehicles.

Rest periods

Quiet hours are from 12:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00.
These should contribute to your recovery.
Please be considerate of the other campers and avoid making noise. In particular, radios, televisions, music systems, musical instruments, etc. must be used in such a way that neighbors are not disturbed.

Waste

Waste must be separated and disposed of in the garbage cans or containers provided at our waste disposal site.

Children

Parents must supervise their children responsibly at all times.
Parents are liable for their children!

Barbecue / campfire

Barbecuing is only permitted with suitable equipment. The embers and fire must be supervised at all times. The barbecue area must be left clean immediately after the barbecue. A campfire may only be lit at the barbecue area (within the concrete ring). If there is an increased risk of forest fires, the operator may issue a ban on open fires.

Use of graduation facility and swimming pond

Use of the graduation facility and the swimming pond is at your own risk.

Safety/Sources of danger

It is not permitted to dig trenches on the campsite, to lay stones as a boundary or to fence off your pitch. Make sure that no one is endangered by tent pegs, tent cords or other camping accessories. Mark poorly recognizable sources of danger with clearly visible markings. Walking and driving on the paths is at your own risk.

Cleanliness

We ask you to leave the sanitary facilities clean, the next camping guest will thank you for it. Children under the age of 6 are only permitted to enter the facilities if accompanied by an adult.

Smoking ban

Smoking is prohibited in enclosed areas. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in the residual waste!

Green spaces

Please take care of the green areas and keep them clean. They are for your relaxation and enjoyment.
From time to time it is necessary to mow the lawn or carry out other grassland maintenance. Thank you for your understanding.

Damage

The person causing the damage is liable for any damage to the campsite facilities and equipment. We accept no liability for theft or damage to guests’ property by third parties or for injuries or accidents. We therefore recommend private provision in the form of insurance.
